The unique strapping under and at the sides of the chin ensures the Dogmatic stays in place and the nose band does not ride up under or into the eyes which causes distress and discomfort to your dog.
The loop under the chin to which the lead is attached works independently of the other straps and can be moved forward, downwards, back, upwards or sideways as required without causing any other straps to lose their position. This means the handler can move and alter their dog’s head position leading to total control.
An extra bonus is that, in an emergency, the Dogmatic can be used to close your dog’s mouth and turn it’s head to enable you to keep it safe but the loop immediately releases again, allowing your dog to once again pant, drink, carry a toy, eat a treat…

We owned Dobermanns for twenty seven years and have also had two Rottweilers, both as rescue and from puppyhood. We had the Top Dobermann in the UK 2000 Champion Manzart Black Humour at Sallate, Tommy. Not only was Tommy an incredible showman, he was a wonderful, loving family pet who loved nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa with his ‘partner’ Evie and their Daughter Leila all of whom did very well in the show ring. We have trained our dogs for both obedience and showing. We have owned Italian Spinoni for 19 years and showed three Italian Spinoni, Grandad, Dad and Grandson. Kofi (Grandad) continues to be remembered as the ‘poster boy’ and handsome face of Dogmatic.
We lost our wonderful boy, Kofi, at the age of 12 years, his son Archie at almost 11 and Archie’s Son Norman at 11 and ¾ years but we have Bertie who is Kofi’s Great, Grand Nephew (Archie’s Cousin and Norman’s Second Cousin) who was a good friend for Norman and a link to our Boys. We have also introduced Freddie who is from Poland and a great friend for Bertie. They look like a Father/Son combination, they are so similar.
